Sherri Lin Recoskie passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012, at the age of 42 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Jaden Recoskie, his father Ken Recoskie of Medicine Hat; her partner Bruce Picken; her parents Linda and Cliff Kehn of Bow Island; one sister Melany Kehn and her children, Geneva, Tristen and Dallas; Ken’s mother Luella Amos and his sister Karen Laing. A Come and Go gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Ortona Room at the Royal Canadian Legion (702 – 2 St. SE).     My best buddy Sherri with an “I” not a “Y” she would tell me as I never could get it right. We had so many good times together I can’t even tell them all. I was blessed to have Sherri in my life for many years. I will miss her sooo much and will treasure all the memories of our times together. My deepest condolences to her family and all that knew her as she was a wonderful soul in every way.

    When I first moved to Medicine Hat the Kehn family welcomed me as one of their own and Sherri became the little sister I’d never had. My happiest memories of Medicine Hat are of her and our adventures. All my love to the family

    Please don’t think as Sherri as gone. Keep her light shineing bright. Think of her lots and talk to her. Her soul is alive and well. One day we will see her again. She is now in a better place. Be happy for her. Thank you all for being an important part of her life.
