Mrs. Margaret Bouman, beloved wife of Mr. Florus Bouman of Redcliff, passed away on Tuesday, January 15th, 2013 at the age of 75 years. Margaret also leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Sara Bouman of Edmonton and Dianna Bouman of Medicine Hat; two grandchildren, Nikki (Stephanie) Briggs and Tia Briggs; four great-grandchildren, Marley McDonald, Victoria Briggs, Emily Harrison, and Catherine Briggs; one brother, Hank Winters; two sisters, Jopie (Theodore) Kohlmetz and Annie (Kasey) Boutkan; two sisters-in-law, Pauline and Kay Winters; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Lubbert and Fenigie Winters; and one brother, Egbert Winters. Margaret was born on February 4th, 1937 in Holland. She came to Canada in 1953 and married Florus on July 29th, 1960 in Redcliff. One of Margaret’s favorite pastimes was gardening. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Memorial gifts in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Medicine Hat & District Branch, 102, 73 – 7th Street SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta T1A 1J2.     I am so very sorry for your loss of your wife,Mom and Grandma. I am holding you all in my thoughts and praying for you for strength through as many seconds, minutes, hours, days or years that you need to grieve and mourn.When I think of all of our years and time together the one constant image in my head of Margaret is her smile and laugh, she liked to joke and tease!!My love and hugs to all of you, especially Dianna for she is my little love always.
