1946 ~ BERESOWSKY ~ 2013

Posted: February 14th, 2013

Kathryn Anne Beresowsky (Kathy) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 11th, 2013 after a long battle with breast cancer. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Erma and Adolf Keist; her sister, Ruby Pleinis; her brother, Richard Keist; her brother, Gary Keist; and her brother, David Keist. She is survived by her husband, Con Beresowsky; her daughter, Carrie Thomson (Gray Thomson); her son, David Beresowsky (Diana Hoover); her granddaughters, Kendyll, Taylor, and Quin; grandson, Rhyse; her brother, Rodney Keist (Karen Keist); her sister, Linda MacMurchy (Leroy MacMurchy); her sister-in-law, Liz Church; her sister-in- law, Audrey Beresowsky (Joe Beresowsky); many nieces, nephews and friends; and her beloved companions, Leo, Kaleigh, and Max.
Kathy loved her yard and spent countless hours planting flowers and trees, tending her pond and fountains and making it a paradise to all who were fortunate enough to sit on her deck with her, with her dogs at her feet, her cat on her lap, and chat about life and enjoy a beer.
Kathy loved her family and her pets, golf and garage sales, her truck and chocolate. She was always there to pick you up when you were down and had a way of listening to problems and making you feel like nothing was too big or too bad to fix. “This too shall pass.” she always said. She will be missed greatly by her family and all who knew her.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated by Margery E. Yuill Cancer Center, 666 – 5th Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6.
