Mrs. Kathleen Resch, beloved wife of Mr. Charles Resch of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, February 28th, 2013 at the age of 73 years. Kathleen also leaves to cherish her memory two children, Ian of Alexandria, Minnesota, and Jodie of Medicine Hat; five grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Spencer, Reed and Matthew ; one sister, Joan (Howard) Buffum and family of Medicine Hat. Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, Keith and Winifred Evans. Kathleen, born in Gull Lake, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She devoted much of her life to helping and caring for others. She spent thirty-three years as a Health Care Aid where she was deeply loved and respected by both staff and residents. Kathleen received a great deal of joy watching her grandchildren participate in music and sports. Kathleen and Charles were happily married for fifty-four years. The Funeral Service will be held in WESTMINSTER UNITED CHURCH, 101 – 6th Street SE, on Tuesday, March 5th, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend LeRoy Angle officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Kathleen’s memory may be made to the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre or to the Palliative Care Unit, both c/o Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, 666 – 5th Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6.
