Mabel was gifted with many strong talents which she developed throughout her life. She was an avid golfer, strong tennis and badminton player. She loved to spend time in her garden and have lunch in her yard with her family and friends. Her quick and assertive wit could be heard over a good game of bridge, during rehearsals, and most recently, enjoyed by the marvellous staff at River Ridge. Her musical contributions covered our community through her beloved Tartones, Medicine Hat Symphony, Medicine Hat Musical Theatre, piano and organ lessons given, and as organist for Pattison’s, St. John’s, and Westminster. She packed each day with a healthy routine and believed in keeping her calendar full. Her family was a source of immense pride and joy, and she loved being in their presence. The funeral service will be held in the St. John’s Presbyterian Church (504 2nd Street SE) on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Nancy Cocks officiating.
