Frieda Wagner passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013, at the age of 88 years, beloved wife of Anton “Tony” Wagner of Medicine Hat. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Sandra (Doug) Dieno of Medicine Hat, Marlys (Charles) Andreas of Medicine Hat and Kevin (Nancy) Yackel of Medicine Hat; five step-children, Vivian (Henry) Bosch of Swift Current, Alfred (Marianne) Wagner of Fox Valley, Ivadelle (David) Maguire of Swift Current, John (Colette) Wagner of Medicine Hat and Marilyn (Charlie) Foss of Frontier; her grandchildren, Carmen (Keon) Schmidt (their daughters, Kalyssa and Brianna), Carla (Chris) Godenir (their daughter, Kesha), Crystal (Darcy) Stuber (their son, Tyler), Corine (Curt) Marshall (their children, Chelsea, Carlye and Caylee), Chantelle (Corey) Parent (their children, Brett and Brooke), Hailey Stern and Cassidy Stern as well as numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Eva and Karl Herrmann; her first husband, Reinhold Yackel in 1999; four brothers, Louis, Karl, Bill and Otto Herrmann; four sisters, Lydia Deer, Christina Gartner, Anne Rader and Lenora Gartner. The funeral service will be held in Victory Lutheran Church (2793 Southview Drive SE) on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Barrett Scheske officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.     My sincere condolences to everyone, although this is late. I just found out that Aunt Frieda had passed away last year and I am so sorry to all of you for your loss.

    When I look at her picture she reminds me of so much of my Dad (Otto).

    I have many fond memories of her gentle and kind spirit and how she use to sing to me as a little girl.
