1930 ~ LEWIS ~ 2013

Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” Lewis of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Mr. James “Jim” Lewis, passed away on Monday, June 17th, 2013 at the age of 83 years. Betty leaves to cherish her memory her children, Joyce Doerkson, Alex Butler (Roxanne), Terry (Al) Purvis, Danny Lewis (Krista) and Betty Ann Smith; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; five great- great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her parents; two daughters, Linda in 1949 and Cindy in 1977; three brothers and two sisters.

Like a bird, God came down and flew you away in the morning sun…
Leaving us with our fondest memories of you…”

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Saturday, June 22nd, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dennis Betker officiating. A Private Interment will take place in the Family Plot at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery.
