GILL

Margaret Anne Gill (nee Ihringer) was born on Thursday, July 30, 1915 in Irvine, Alberta. Her parents Joseph and Mary Ihringer and her siblings sister Gertrude Ihringer, sister Louise Ihringer and her husband Albert predeceased her. She married Albert Gill in 1958 and became “the best mom ever” to Bill, living in Leader until her death on Saturday, June 22, 2013.
Margaret moved to Leader, Saskatchewan in 1924. She and her two sisters attended boarding school at St. Angela’s Academy of Prelate, Saskatchewan. She attended Normal School at the University of Saskatchewan in 1936. Upon graduation, Margaret taught school and music in Primate, Denzil, Fox Valley, Regina, Victoria, B.C., and Leader.
Margaret was an active member of the Little Flower Catholic Women’s League, Sunshine Girls Bridge Club and played the organ in church for many years. She loved to read, cook, sew, play piano, teach, entertain and lived life to the fullest. She will be missed by all and forever by her family Bill, Kim, Kelsey, Haley, and Grant.
Funeral Service will be held at the Little Flower Parish in Leader, SK on Friday, June 28th at 2:00pm.
