Mr. Gerald “Gerry” William Kinner, beloved husband of Mrs. Lynda Kinner of Medicine Hat, passed away in Yuma, Arizona on Friday, April 12th, 2013 at the age of 60 years. Gerry also leaves to cherish his memory his brother-in-law, Malcolm (Linda) McEachern of Cambridge, Ontario and his sister-in-law, Verna McEachern of Owen Sound, Ontario. Gerry was predeceased by his parents, William and Gladys Kinner. Gerry was born on September 5th, 1952 in Medicine Hat where he was also raised and educated. He met Lynda McEachern and they were married in Paris, Ontario on November 21st, 1987. Gerry was employed by the City of Medicine Hat for 37 years. He was a Mason and was connected with the Crossroads Mission in Yuma, Arizona. A Graveside Service will be held in SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY, 5160 Gershaw Drive SW, on Saturday, July 6th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. In honor of his life and style of entertaining, a pot luck Celebration of Gerry’s Life will follow at the ELKS HALL, 305 – 3rd Street NW, from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial gifts in Gerry’s memory may be made to the Crossroads Mission, c/o Barbara Rochester, 1356 Arena Drive, Yuma, Arizona 85364, or to CARO – Canadians Reaching out to the Worlds Children Foundation, 231 Ross Glen SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1B 3C5.
