1983 ~ STUBERT ~ 2013

Travis Edward Peter Stubert, beloved husband of Nicola “Nikki” Vosloo- Stubert of Medicine Hat, passed away on Sunday, July 21st, 2013 at the age of 29 years. Travis also leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Kenneth Stubert and Corrine Bischoff (Jim Roussos); two brothers, James Corey Stubert and Kurtis Kenneth Stubert; his grandmother, Dennillia “Nellie” Bischoff; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Travis was predeceased by his godparents, Tony (Marilyn) Deis and their children, Mandy, Jackie and Kimmy; grandparents, Edward and Helen Stubert; grandfather, Peter Bischoff; two uncles, Tom Deis and Irwin Kuhn; and cousin, Lois Stuart. Travis was born on December 26th, 1983 in Medicine Hat, where he grew-up and attended school. He was an extremely outgoing person who loved to fish, camp and golf. Travis also loved family get-togethers and a good home-cooked meal. He had a desire for truth and knowledge. Travis was loving known as “Captain Stubby” by his friends and will forever remain in their hearts. We would like to give a special thank you to Phil Watts and Tanner for their support. We will all miss you and you will remain in our hearts forever. The Funeral Service will be held in THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, 1865 Division Avenue NE, on Saturday, August 10th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop George Schow officiating. Memorial gifts in Travis’s memory may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.
