Mrs. Virginia Rose Hamm of Medicine Hat passed away on Thursday, September 5th, 2013 at the age of 75 years. Virginia is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jerry; three daughters, Cheryl (with husband, Jamie), Faye (with husband, John) and Alison (with husband, Rob); and two sons, Richard (with wife, Marie) and Lyle (with wife, Lauren). She has been blessed with eight grandchildren, Tammy, Amy, Kim, Hope, Kaylee, William, Eduard and Delaina; and twelve great-grandchildren, Morgan, Anna, Bayleigh, Dexter, Hayley, Payton, Gracie, Logan, Dominic, Nick, Axton and Ember. Remembered with great love by her sisters, Alicia (with husband, Orest), Sandy and Shirley; Aunt Anne Antoniuk; niece, Charlene (with son, Zack); and nephew, Darcy Hubic. Virginia was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Steve Boychuk; one grandchild, Asher; and one sister, Linda Boychuk. The Funeral Service will be held in HILLCREST EVANGELICAL MISSIONARY CHURCH, 3785 – 13th Avenue SE, on Friday, September 13th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Bolender officiating. Interment will follow at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Virginia’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 102 – 1865 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 1Z8 or to the Ronald McDonald House, 111 West Campus Place NW, Calgary, Alberta, T3B 2R6 or to the Hillcrest Evangelical Church, 3785 – 13th Avenue SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1B 1J2.
