STAN WEINMASTER

Stanley Ira Weinmaster of Medicine Hat, passed away after a tragic accident on Friday, September 20, 2013. ?He was 88 years young.  He was a loving husband of 60 years to his late wife, Linda.  Stan leaves to cherish his memory his two daughters, Brenda (Ken) Achtemichuk of Lethbridge and Charlotte (Dave) Beisel of Medicine Hat;  his grandchildren, Greg Achtemichuk, Brad Achtemichuk (James Poos), Marc (Elena) Achtemichuk, Chrisie (Joey) Merriman; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Lauren, Mason, Isaac and Katie.  Stan will also be remembered by his brother, Mel (Sybil) Weinmaster; sisters, Irene Kulberg and Marlene (Rob) Bartlett; sister-in-law, Jean Weinmaster; as well as Linda’s siblings, Katie Schick, Evangeline (Clare) Heagy, Ed (Margaret) Baron, including numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife, Linda on September 1, 2010;  parents, Alex and Molly Weinmaster;  brothers, Alan and Arnold; also sister-in-law, Sally Weinmaster and brother-in-law, Harry Kulberg.  Stan was born in Rhein, SK., spending his entire life as a farmer and carpenter in the Yorkton area.  In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing and winter trips to Arizona.  Stan has resided at Chinook Village for the past three years since Linda’s death and has enjoyed many coffee outings with his friends.  A private family graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, with Pastor George Brandt officiating.  A Coffee Party and a time of remembrance will be announced at a later date.
