1956 ~ BLANCHARD ~ 2013

Debra Dawn Blanchard of Medicine Hat passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2013 at the age of 56 years surrounded by her family. She is survived by her true love, her best friend, Wayne Blanchard; her children, Tasha (Luis) Barata, Billie Blanchard, and Mitch (Stephanie) Blanchard; and her grandchildren that she loved with all her heart, Emily, Hannah, Katie, Tiago, Sophie, and Nico. Debra leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Barbara Moore; her brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, and a countless number of friends. Debra was predeceased by her father, Ray Moore on May 15th, 2006. Debra was born on January 30th, 1956 in Reston, Manitoba to Barbara and Raymond Moore. She met Wayne in 1974 and he swept her off her feet and they were married on December 14th, 1974. Soon after they started their family and in 1976 they relocated to Medicine Hat where they raised their family. Debra was so proud of her children and her grandchildren. She took every moment she could to tell everyone about them. Her family was her life. We welcome you to come and Celebrate the Life of Debra, wife, mother, and grandmother at Echo Dale Park Banquet Facility on Saturday, September 28th, 2013 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Refreshments and lunch will be served.     Wayne our thoughts and prays are with you and your family. I remember the first time we met Deb at Stein’s Mums, you came in the evening and we played cards well into the night.She was such a lovely person so kind and made everyone feel special. You have so many great memories.
