1948 ~ SCHMOUS ~ 2013

Mr. John Bryden Schmous of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, October 26th, 2013 at the age of 65 years. John leaves to cherish his memory five children, Trevor, Dwayne, Mathew, and Zachary Schmous, and Danielle (Nelson) Gouge-Schmous; nine grandchildren; one brother, Bill Schmous; two aunts, Betty Guthrie and Doreen Cearie; and great aunt, Frances Ritchie. John was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Margaret Schmous; and one sister, Cecilia Ashman. John was born in Woodstock, Ontario on October 25th, 1948. He moved to Timmons, Ontario before relocating to Medicine Hat in 1999. John loved the outdoors including fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed woodwork and leatherwork, reading, and native culture. John especially loved spending time with his kids and grandkids and will be greatly missed by them all. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday, November 8th, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating.
