1931 ~ MILLIGAN ~ 2014

Mrs. Edna Milligan, beloved wife of Mr. Jim Milligan of Medicine Hat, passed away on Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Edna also leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Leonard Milligan of Keswick, Ontario, Les (Diane) Milligan of Red Deer, and Glen (Linda) Milligan of Edson; one son-in-law, Jerry Pond; eight grandchildren; eighteen great- grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Leslie and Annie Scott; and her daughter, Brenda Pond. Edna loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed volunteering at many of the nursing homes in Medicine Hat. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Monday, January 27th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. David J. Carter officiating. Family and friends are invited to a Come and Go Reception to be held in the Saamis Creekside Centre at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel following the funeral service.
