Margaret Sehn (Buettner) of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, February 14th, 2014 at the age of 92 years. Margaret is survived by her four sons, Lewie (Sue) Buettner, Garry (Alberta) Buettner, Balzer (Elsie) Buettner and Peter Buettner; her three daughters, Annamary (Jack) Wist, Pauline (Harley) Berg and Catherine Desjarlais; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; and six great- great grandchildren; two brothers, Henry (Hazel) Drescher and Martin (Margaret) Drescher; two sisters, Cora Reider and Rose Ulane; three sisters-in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Buettner; her second husband, Exi Sehn; her daughter, Theresa (Richard) Druery; two great-grandchildren; her parents, Gregory and Mary Drescher; six brothers, Markus Drescher, Joseph Drescher, John Drescher, Tony Drescher, Peter Drescher and Paul Drescher; and by one sister, Anne Getz. Vigil Rites (prayers) will be said at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Thursday, February 20th, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 1451 Strachan Road SE, on Friday, February 21st, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. with Father Matthew Emmelkamp, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 6007 – 1A Street SW, Calgary, Alberta, T2H 0G5.
