1943 ~ BOHNET ~ 2014

Elizabeth “Betty” Marjorie Bohnet passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 16th, 2014 at the age of 70 years. Betty was born to Jacob and Christina Nittle on July 7th, 1943, the youngest of four daughters, and was raised on their farm near the Little Plume Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 51 years, Wilbert Bohnet; and three children: Karen (Les) Darr of Red Deer and their children, Tori and Haley; Kelly (Cindy) Bohnet and their children, Richelle (Myles) Mulholland and children Kaitlyn and Tyler, Jenny (Shawn) Yanke and children Jazmin and Zander, Cristin (Ryan) Vallely and children Mea and Austin, and Kelvin (Brenda) Bohnet and their daughter, Miranda, all of Medicine Hat; two sisters, Doreen Stuber of Medicine Hat and Elsie (Marcel) Lambert of Okotoks; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Christina Nittle; one sister, Annie Nittle, and two grandchildren, Pamela and Daniel. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Saturday, February 22nd, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. A Private Interment will follow in the Family Plot at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Betty’s memory may be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation, #124, 430 – 6th Avenue SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 2S8.
