Kathryn Mary Allore, beloved wife of the late Fred Allore, passed away on Friday, March 21st, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Kathryn leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Michael Allore (David Ford) of Vancouver BC, Stephen Allore of Medicine Hat, and James Allore of Vancouver BC. Kathryn lived a rich and fulfilling life. In their early years together, she and Fred sought out new opportunities and new challenges all throughout Eastern Canada, working and growing together in places like Sioux Lookout, Belleville, and Toronto. They embarked on another big adventure in 1971, moving to Medicine Hat, where they raised their family, and were very active in the community. Kathy loved bridge, music, flowers (especially orchids), art, good conversation – anything and everything that brought beauty and joy into life. She had many friends of all ages and will be greatly missed, but always remembered for her grace and civility, decency and kindness. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in ST. PATRICK’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 238 – 2nd Avenue NE, on Saturday, March 29th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Long Vu, celebrant. Interment will take place on Monday, March 31st, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Family Plot at Hillside Cemetery. If wishing to attend interment service, please meet at 12:45 p.m. inside the cemetery gates. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Kathryn’s memory can be made to the CORE Association, 412 – 3rd Street SE, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 0H1.
