1947 ~ HUNCHAK ~ 2014

Posted: April 4th, 2014

Chester Hunchak, the Coolest Cat of all time who truly was beloved by all, is gone. Chester passed away on Saturday, March 22nd, 2014 at the age of 67 years. He leaves to cherish his memory Julie Hunchak, Jeannine Hunchak, Jason Zimmer, Monica Smith and her children, Andrea and Nick, Harold (Lillian) Hunchak, numerous nieces and nephews, his many cousins, and all of his friends….he held all of you in his heart. Chester was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Nettie Hunchak; and his brother, Mervin Hunchak (Ravina). Those of us who had the pleasure will remember the good times in the rock pit, but we’re sure that wherever Chester is, there are no closing times, the women are beautiful, the beats are always loud and Mr. C will rock on for eternity. It was no surprise to anyone that his U-Haul business boasted top sales numbers — he could sell ice to an eskimo and the eskimo would come back for more when it melted. Those who’d fallen on hard luck could count on Chester to save the day and he always delivered, whether it was a damsel or dude in distress, he was always there.  There are no words to express just how awesome this man was. For those who knew him and even those who crossed his path for a brief moment, he’s left his stamp. Everyone loves you, Chester.
“Always take time for personal thoughts.” Chester Hunchak
