VIVIAN BEASLEY

Mrs. Vivian Marjorie Beasley beloved wife of the late Mr. Henry R. Beasley passed away peacefully at St.?Joseph’s Carmel Hospice with family at her side, on Monday, May 19, 2014.  Vivian was born in Nelson B.C., and resided most of her life in Redcliff.  She worked at the Dominion Glass Factory in Redcliff and at the Redcliff Greenhouse in the Rose department for 36 years.  Vivian was always young at heart and had a great sense of humor, her caring and kind nature spread to all especially her loving family.  She enjoyed most sports, in particular baseball, and loved celebrating holidays, family dinners, watching movies and completing find word puzzles.  She will be forever missed in the hearts of her daughters, Phyllis (Michael) Giammatteo, Evelyn (Wayne) Leblanc, Brenda Peterson; a brother, Wilfred Fairhurst; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandsons.  Vivian was predeceased by her first husband, Edward Handsaeme, second husband, Henry Beasley;  son, Edward Handsaeme; son-in-laws, Herbert Kollross, Floyd Peterson; grandson, Lee Peterson; two brothers and two sisters.  The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff on 6 West and of St. Joseph’s Carmel Hospice. A Celebration of Vivian’s life will be held at Cook Soutland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz.  Interment will follow later in the day at Prairie View Cemetery.  (Condolences may be expressed by visiting www.cooksouthland.com)  Memorial donations in Vivian\’s name may be made directly to St. Jospeh’s Carmel Hospice, 156 – 3 Street N.E., Medicine Hat, AB.  T1A 5M1.   Honoured to serve the family is Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta  T1A 4V4  Phone 403-527-6455

    We at Headquarters hair are so sorry for your loss. Vivian was a super fun woman. We enjoyed having her come to the salon. Her daughter gave her so much love and affection and she always had such a wonderful sense of humour. Now she is at rest. God Bless your family.
