1928 ~ ANHORN ~ 2014

Herbert \”Herb\” Anhorn of Swift Current, beloved husband of Dorothy Anhorn, passed away on Friday, June 6th, 2014 at the age of 86. Herb also leaves to cherish his memory one step-daughter, Sharon (Garry) Wittmier; two grandchildren, Matthew and Katie Winters; three step grandchildren, Shawn (Starla) Wittmier, Shantel (Darren) LeBel, and Shane (Leslie) Wittmier; seven step great-grandchildren, Cassi, Jayci, Tyler, Skylar, Shelby, Braden and Aaron; and one brother-in-law, Jim Becker. Herb was predeceased by his parents, John and Emma Anhorn; his daughter, Beverly Ann Winters; one brother, Adolph Anhorn; and one sister, Emelia Becker. Herb managed the Elks Club in Medicine Hat and then the Royal Canadian Legion Lounge in Swift Current until his retirement. He enjoyed camping and travelling and especially loved music and dancing. Herb will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Private Time of Remembrance will be held. A Private Interment will take place at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery, Medicine Hat.
