1920 ~ ACHESON ~ 2014

Mrs. Dorie Anna Elaine Acheson of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Mr. Stuart Acheson, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, August 9th, 2014 at the age of 94 years. Mom\’s strong faith in the Lord throughout her life and her talent and love of music enabled her to make many lifelong friends. She was a wonderful, dedicated Mom, always there for her family: Sherryl (Brian) Galenzoski, Norman (Bonnie) Acheson, Loren (Shelley) Acheson and Lorraine (Scott) Owens; six grandchildren, Kari Galenzoski, Mark (Randi) Galenzoski, Jason Cameron, Katie Acheson, Amanda (John) Acheson and Shayne Acheson; ten great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dorie was predeceased by her husband; her parents; and one daughter in infancy. Her involvement with the blind and the CNIB encouraged many. A Private Graveside Service was held yesterday at Hillside Cemetery.
