George Moser of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, September 9th, 2014 at the age of 80 years. George leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 55 years, Rose; his daughter, Karen (Larry); his son, Dale (Shanon); five grandchildren, Daniel, Kristen (Rick), Jessica (Will), Demara (Landon) and Jamie (Becca); one great- granddaughter, Kristalynn; one brother, Roy; one sister, Mary (Gerry); many close friends; and Rose\’s brothers, George (Sandra), Norman (Pearl), and Ray. George was predeceased by his son, Lyle (Gail); his parents, George and Florentina; and numerous brothers and sisters. George was born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan on October 28th, 1933 and married Rose Hamel on February 17th, 1958. He showed cattle for three years before gaining employment with Alberta Transportation. George loved watching baseball and played for the \”Richmound Rockets\” in his younger years. He also enjoyed playing pool, cards and games. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Saturday, September 13th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Philip Le officiating.
