Edna “June” Leach of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Roy Leach, passed away on Tuesday, September 9th, 2014 at the age of 85 years. June leaves to cherish her memory her children, Ray Leach of Empress, Lucille Becker of Medicine Hat and Shirley (Patrick) Spath of Acadia Valley; five grandchildren, Brant (Stephanie) Becker and their children, Jayda, Sydney, and Treydon, Ryan Becker (fiancée Victoria) and children, Izzabella and Grayson, Brock Becker, Damara Spath and Jordan Spath; and two step great grandchildren, Cody and Kailey. June was predeceased by her husband, Ambros \”Roy\” Leach; her parents, James and Mabel Murdoch; one brother, Leslie Murdoch; and two sisters, Audrey Dodd and Eveline Raher. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Monday, from 10:00 until 10:55 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, on Monday, September 15th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Interment will take place at Empress Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Memorial gifts in June\’s memory may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Medicine Hat & District Branch, 102, 73 – 7th Street SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 1J2.
