Marjorie \”Marj\” Alice Rempel, beloved wife of Fred Rempel of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, September 27th, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Marj also leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Wendy (Jim) Turner of Medicine Hat; three grandchildren, Jason Turner, Steven (Sandra) Turner, and Justin Turner; seven great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Patrick, Alexander, Matthew, Mark, Katherine, and Eric; one brother, Wayne (Diane) Schapansky; two sisters, Miriam (John) Dyck and Elma (Vic) Klassen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marj was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Margaret Schapansky; and one brother, Wilfred Schapansky. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Thursday, October 2nd, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Memorial gifts in Marj\’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, #102, 73 – 7th Street SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 1J2.
