Wallace \”Wally\” Rieger, beloved husband of Louise Rieger of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, September 26th, 2014 at the age of 74 years. Wally also leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Karen (Bill) Angus of Turner Valley, Sandra (Brian) Bartoli of Medicine Hat, and Brenda (Michael) Geib of Richmound, BC; two grandchildren, Graeme and Justin Geib; one brother, Edwin (Violet) Rieger of Medicine Hat; two sisters-in-law, Doreen Rieger and Viola Rieger; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Private Graveside Service took place at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery on Tuesday, September 30th, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Memorial gifts in Wally\’s memory may be made to the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre, 666 – 5th Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6.
