1920 ~ WEGNER ~ 2014

LeRoy Wegner, beloved husband of Helen Wegner of Medicine Hat, passed away on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 at the age of 94 years. LeRoy also leaves to cherish his memory his children, Russ Wegner and Carol Becker; his grandchildren, Marty (Heidi) Becker, Jody (Aaron) Oland, and Stacy (Jen) Wegner; his great-grandchildren, Tuftin, Bentley, Mia, and Meika; one sister, Marjorie Stromsmoe; one brother-in-law, Edward Maser; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. LeRoy was predeceased by his parents, Vernon and Emma Wegner; his son-in-law, Gerny Becker; and four sisters-in-law. LeRoy Wegner grew up in Ponderay, Alberta. He served in the army in WWII from 1942 to 1946. He married Helen Maser and they ranched in the Manyberries area until moving to The Wellington in Medicine Hat in the spring of 2011. A Private Family Time of Remembrance will be held.
