MARIE ALICE MORRISON

Marie Morrison, nee Nickel, of Empress, Alberta passed away on December 23, 2014 at the age of 88 years. She was the wife of the late Blair Morrison
Marie leaves to cherish her memory, four children Candie (Glen) Coffey & sons Jay and Derek, Blaine Morrison, Wyatt Morrison (Lorna Hoffman), Trudie Morrison & sons Johnathan and Shaun. She was predeceased by her parents Mr. & Mrs. R.J. Nickel; sisters Jean, Edna, Laura, and Dolly; and brother Lester (Bud).
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 30, at the Empress Cemetery in Empress, Alberta. Officiating Clergy is Bonnie Burke. Pallbearers are Blaine Morrison, Wyatt Morrison, Candie Coffey, Trudie Morrison, Jay Coffey, and Derek Coffey.

Sincere condolences on your loss. Your mother was a great lady and a stalwart of the Empress community. We were fortunate to have coffee with her and Ron Leech during the Empress Centennial.
Was sad to hear of Marie’s passing. Marie was an awesome, kind lady, who truly will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
