Carol Laura Tuchscherer, beloved wife of Charlie Tuchscherer of Medicine Hat, passed away on Friday, December 26th, 2014 at the age of 69 years. Carol also leaves to cherish her memory her children, Douglas Tuchscherer, Paul (Kim) Tuchscherer, Karen Tuchscherer (Kerry Delahey) and Sheryl (Mike) Haaf; eight grandchildren, Brooke Tuchscherer, Brandon Tuchscherer, RJ Tuchscherer (Jazmine), Chase Smithson (Brooklyn), Dustin (Sheena) Haaf, Ashley Haaf, Derek Haaf and Dalton Haaf; one great grandson, Tyrell; one sister, Kathleen Madsen; three brothers-in-law, Roy (Merle) Tuchscherer, Garnet (Brenda) Tuchscherer and Harvey (Lori) Tuchscherer; two sisters-in-law, Vivian Tuchscherer and Adela Tuchscherer; good friends, Sharlene Trudel, Vivian Anheller and Cheryl Westman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Gus and Rose Holt; one sister in infancy, Alison Holt; and three brothers-in-law, Joe Tuchscherer, Donnie Tuchscherer and John Tuchscherer. Carol was born on February 18th, 1945 in Cabri, Saskatchewan. She married Charlie on November 12th, 1963, celebrating 51 years of marriage. Carol worked for the school board in the housekeeping department. She enjoyed Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren; who were the loves of her life. Carol will be missed by all those who knew her. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Thursday, January 1st, 2015 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Friday, January 2nd, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Alphonse Narisetty officiating. Memorial gifts in Carol\’s memory may be made to the ICU and 4W units of the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, c/o Medicine Hat and District Health Foundation, 666 – 5th Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6.     We were so very sorry to hear the news of your Mom’s passing. The loss of a parent leaves the most unbelievable crater in one’s heart. Although I did not know your Mom she must have been an amazing woman – after all she put up with you! Heavens garden just gained another beautiful rose. Sending love and hugs your way.
