Barbara Lowther of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Edward Lowther, passed away on Tuesday, December 30th, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her children, Alfred (Jean) Lowther, Brian (Iona) Goldie, Randy (Debra) Goldie, Brett (Anne) Goldie, Adrianne Lowther, and Maureen (George) Wrzyszcz; ten grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren; one brother, Ken Chugg; two sisters, Irene Cull and Lynne Lamb; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Everrett and Florence Chugg; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Gordon Chugg. Barbara will be remembered for her devotion to her service clubs, The Royal Purple and The Eagles. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
