Helen Barbara Miller, beloved wife of Raymond Miller of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, February 11th, 2015 at the age of 76 years. Helen also leaves to cherish her memory her children, Laura (Arie) Johnston, Dan (Gail) Closs, Blaine (Cheryl) Closs, Sheila Closs, and Tim (Colleen) Closs; Ray\’s children, Therese (Bill) Harlow, Robert (Doreen) Miller, Norma (Don) Berg, Darcy Miller and Corinne (Nick) Lloyd; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; ten step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren; one sister, Anne Johnston; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her parents, Sebastian and Magdalena Kramer; one brother, Sebastian Kramer; and five sisters, Cecilia Ritchey, Frances Koch, Minnie Lawson, Betty Riedlinger and Julia Riedlinger. Helen was born on April 21st, 1938 in Maple Creek. She married Raymond Miller on February 18th, 2006 and was honoured to become a part of his family. She was a devoted mother to her children and took pride in teaching them right from wrong to the best of her ability. Helen\’s fondest memories were family gatherings remembering special times and just being together with her and Raymond\’s families. She loved reading, embroidering, camping, singing, baking and listening classic country music; especially the fiddle. Helen was grateful to watch her children grow into the beautiful people they are today. Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be said at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Monday, February 16th, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 1451 Strachan Road SE, on Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Philip Le, celebrant. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Section at Hillside Cemetery.
