BOLDUC, Réal Arsène Édouard

September 17, 1922 – February 14, 2015

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Réal Bolduc Sr. of St. Albert, on February 14, 2015 at the age of 92 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Margaret; children: Réal Bolduc (Carol), Mary Lynn (Tom) Ferguson, Gerard (Olga) Bolduc, Jean (Deborah) Bolduc, Sister Gisele Bolduc OCD, and Margaret (Richard) Czyz; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Fernande Travers-Bolduc; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by parents: Édouard and Mary (Travers) Bolduc (Queen of French Canadian Folksingers a.k.a “La Bolduc”); sisters: Denise Calvert and Lucienne Ouelette; and 8 other siblings in infancy.
A Visitation will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, Alberta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2015 at Carmelite Monastery, 12-51222 Range Road 270, Spruce Grove, Alberta. Directions to Carmelite Monastery: Take Hwy 60 towards Devon. Turn right on Graminia Road (twp. rd. 511), drive 4.9 km, turn right at Graminia Hall (rr 270). Drive 2.3 km, take first left (twp. rd. 512A). Drive 800 m, on right Carmelite Monastery, drive to end of driveway. Interment will follow service at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, Alberta.
Memorial Donations may be made in Réal’s name to Carmelite Monastery, 12-51222 Range Road 270, Spruce Grove, Alberta T7Y 1G2. May the Souls of the faithful departed by the mercy of God rest in peace.
