1957 ~ MARTINEAU ~ 2015

Donna Louise Martineau, beloved wife of Joseph “Joe” Martineau of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, March 4th, 2015 at the age of 57 years. Donna also leaves to cherish her memory her children, Joleine (Jeremy) Hartman, Craig Martineau (Ashley Brown) and Cherisse Martineau (Jordan Stern), all of Medicine Hat; her mother, Wilma Vatamaniuck of Moose Jaw; six grandchildren, Jaidyn, April, Carissa, Taylor, Jackson and Lily; three sisters, Verlyn (Larry) Crooks of Lafleche, Saskatchewan, Marilyn (Terry) Morrison and Shelly (Les) Crooks, both of Regina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by father, Gus Vatamaniuck; one son, in infancy; and one brother, Larry Vatamaniuck. Donna was born on April 19th, 1957 in Lafleche, Saskatchewan where she was raised and educated. She married Joe in Lafleche on January 11th, 1975. Donna loved to spend time with her family and especially loved time spent with her grandchildren. She was an avid sports enthusiast, strived to live a healthy and active life and loved spending time outside working in her flower beds or camping. Donna will be missed greatly by all those who knew her. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Gary W.
