1942 ~ LAUBENSTEIN ~ 2015

Rudolf “Rudy” Laubenstein, beloved husband of Rosemarie Laubenstein of Redcliff, passed away on Thursday, April 16th, 2015 at the age of 73 years. Rudy also leaves to cherish his memory four children, Murray Laubenstein (Leslie Drader) of Redcliff, Ken (Yvonne) Laubenstein of Calgary, Terry (Pam) Laubenstein of Rolling Hills, and Susan (Rod) Fischer of Redcliff; six grandchildren, Sasha Tierlie and her daughter, Emily, Ryan Laubenstein and his son, Logan, Harley Laubenstein, Kalee Laubenstein, Melanie Fischer, and Blane Fischer; one brother, Gunther (Diane) Laubenstein of Burdett; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rudy was predeceased by his parents, Friedrich and Katharina Laubenstein; one brother, Adolf Laubenstein; one sister-in-law, Sharon Fischer; and mother and father-in-law, Ben and Esther Sulz. Rudy loved car racing, motorcycles, and camping. His other interests included reading, watching TV, and his tropical fish. He was especially fond of his dogs, Wrinkles and Simba. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor George Brandt officiating.
