1946 ~ TROST ~ 2015

Wilfreid “Wilf” Karl Trost of Redcliff, passed away on Thursday, May 21st, 2015 at the age of 68 years. Wilf leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 39 years, Natalie Kim Trost; four daughters, Carla (Clint) Richards of Regina, Trish Trost (Robert Kmiecik) of Maple Creek, Tracey Trost of Irvine, and Pam (James) Palmer of Medicine Hat; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Wally (Wilma), Richard (Betty), Alvin “Tiny” (Judy Winquist), and Allen (Joyce Fraser); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and cousins. Wilf was predeceased by one sister, Lorely Crockford; and his parents, Karl and Ella Trost. Wilf was born on May 28th, 1946 in Calgary. He married Kim on June 14th, 1975 in Redcliff where they settled and raised their family. For 26 years, Wilf thoroughly enjoyed the position he held with Medicine Hat School District No. 76. He also enjoyed fishing, carpentry work, reading and playing cards with family and friends. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Friday, May 29th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. A Private Interment will take place at Redcliff Cemetery.
