John Hubbard of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Susan Hubbard, passed away on Sunday, May 31st, 2015 at the age of 73 years. John leaves to cherish his memory his children, Peggy-Sue (Richard) Moore, Lori-Ann Hubbard (Chris Beardmore), and Shawn (Bobbi-Jo) Hubbard; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; five sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as John’s “sweetie”, Mabel Schafer. John was predeceased by his parents and one sister. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 1:00 to 1:55 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Thursday, June 4th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Plot at Hillside Cemetery. Sorry to hear about the passing of John. I drove school bus with him and had our daily visits in the morning asking how the highway was for me. You always knew where he was with his laugh. He was a great man and will be missed.
