Frank Hagemeister passed away peacefully on July 17, 2015, at the age of 82 years. He was surrounded by the caring staff of Medicine Hat Regional Hospital’s 2-North.

Frank was many things to many people. To his family he was a reliable source of advice, love, and laughter. To his friends he was a trusted confidant and could always be counted on to have a story to fit any situation. It was clear his love for people he called family or friend ran deep.

Within the community, calling Frank a dedicated volunteer would be an understatement. Over the years he has been an active member of many community organizations including; the Lions Club, Royal Canadian Legion, among many others. Additionally he volunteered his time as a bus driver for assorted community groups and church ministries.

“I shall pass this way but once; any good that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being; let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” – Etienne de Grellet
