Mr. Wendel Vincent Wickenheiser, beloved and devoted husband of Carol Wickenheiser and loving father to Christy Wickenheiser, passed away peacefully at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at the age of 74 years. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 238 – 2 Avenue N.E., Medicine Hat, on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Tomy Manjaly celebrant. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Wendel’s name may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society, 102 Crestwood Square One, 1865 Dunmore Road S.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta T1A 1Z8 or to a charity of one’s choice.
