Eileen Jones, passed away in Bow Island on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the age of 95 years.

Eileen is survived by her children Kathryn Solomon of Calgary, Richard (Molly) Jones of Pekin, Illinois and David Jones of Bow Island; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband Vaughan Jones, second husband Frank Helmle and by her brother Percy Baker and sister-in-law Janett Baker.
Eileen was born in Ponoka on October 24, 1919. She was a teacher, homemaker and a longtime resident of Bow Island. She loved to travel and enjoyed golfing. Eileen was a kind and generous woman who enjoyed helping others. She lived a life that exemplified a strong christian faith. Eileen loved her children and grandchildren and will be dearly missed.

our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Eileen was a special and caring person. I da the privilege of taking Eileen to her appointments in Medicine Hat. Also she was part of our church gatherings at out house. She always had a poem or reading that she shared.
