1925 ~ BRISSKE ~ 2015

Klara Brisske of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Friedrich Brisske, passed away on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 at the age of 90 years. Klara leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Lorraine Smith; two grandchildren, Kirk (ZengMing) Smith and Karla (Simon) Hersey; and three great-grandchildren, Jensen, Breckyn and Alexis. Klara was predeceased by one son. Klara was born in Tarutino, Romania and married Friedrich Brisske in Leipzig, Germany in 1950. They immigrated to Canada in 1953 where they settled in Medicine Hat to raise their family. Klara was very active in the Memorial Evangelical Church and passes on a legacy of love and service to her family and friends. The family would like to thank all the staff at Masterpiece Supported Living for their wonderful care of Klara. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Wednesday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL on Thursday, September 17th, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Larry Enslen officiating. A Private Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
