1927 ~ GREENWOOD ~ 2015

Doris Ada Greenwood, beloved wife of Mostyn Greenwood of Medicine Hat, passed away on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Doris also leaves to cherish her memory six children, David Greenwood (Liane Perrior), Judith Graham, Kim (Fred) Rowley, Diane (Tom) Vair, Janet Stang, and Karen (Bob) Marshall; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great- grandchildren; one great-great- granddaughter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Frances Roberts; her birth mother, Jessie Palmer; her son, Murray Greenwood; her son-in-law, Ken Stang; and two brothers, Lorne and Roy. Doris taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed animals, travelling, poetry, baking and bowling. Doris loved her family and truly enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. The family would like to thank all of the amazing staff at Haven Care Centre and Havenview for their unbelievable care. The Funeral Service will be held at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, 1865 Division Avenue NE, on Friday, October 9th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop George Schow presiding. A Private Interment will take place at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Doris’s memory may be made to the CNIB or to the charity of one`s choice.
