Dorothy Gwendoline Hickling of Medicine Hat, beloved wife of the late Jim Hickling, passed away on Sunday, January 3rd, 2016 at the age of 91 years. Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory three children, Judy Canning of Medicine Hat, Janice (Al) Goode of Calgary, and Gary Hickling of Medicine Hat; three grandchildren, Jim Canning, Sean Goode and Stacey Goode; nine great- grandchildren, Jordan, Tayler, Olivia, Ryan, Cerian, Kylie, Anthony, Matthew, and Koaltin; one sister, Shirley Cleveland and her children, Laurie, Terry, Donna, Roy, and their families. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Jim; her parents, Wilfred and Ethel Mosher; and her brother-in-law, Hugh Cleveland. Dorothy loved playing bingo and was always willing to help others, especially those she loved. She was a very positive, friendly, warm-hearted woman who was loved by all. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The Private Memorial Service will be held at the SAAMIS PRAIRIE VIEW CEMETERY Chapel, 5160 Gershaw Drive SW, on Thursday, January 7th, 2016 with Gary W. Goran officiating. Interment will follow at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery.
