Surrounded by his devoted family, Trevor passed away peacefully on January 21, 2016 at the age of 67 years.
He will be remembered lovingly by his wife of 40 years, Janet; two daughters, Meghan (Alex) and Chelsea (Tareq); grandson Zaidyn; as well as by numerous friends and colleagues.
Trevor’s passion for sport lead to a lengthy career in academia where his research influenced the field of sport management. He was a mentor to many graduate students and was honored with the award of Canada Research Chair for his many scholarly accomplishments.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Helen’s Church, Darley Dale, Derbyshire. It was Trevor’s desire to be buried in his beloved England.
