ANHORN, GLADYS MARGUARITE

February 28, 1923 – February 16, 2016

Gladys Anhorn passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the age of 92 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Douglas Smith and Jean (Fred) Burton; grandchildren Randy, Alaine, Ryan and Chris; three great grandchildren; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her son Glenn Smith, brother Alf and sister Irene. Gladys was born and raised in Medicine Hat and lived the majority of her life there except for the last few years which have been spent in Calgary. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and just working with her hands. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed a long career as one. Cremation has taken place and the family is planning to inter the cremated remains in Medicine Hat at a later date. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.
