Noble “Buster” Baragar of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Irene Baragar, passed away on Monday, February 22nd, 2016 at the age of 89 years. Buster leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Douglas (Roberta), Herbert (Tammie), and Dwight (Sherry); one daughter, Norma (Tim) Stubbert; seven grandchildren, Tara, Derek, Michael, Marah, Troy, Kendra and Angela; five great grandchildren, Brett, Ethan, Zarayah, Genesis and Nicholas; two brothers, David and Douglas; two sisters, Evangeline “Vanji” Laube and Shirley Code; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Buster was predeceased by his wife, Irene Baragar in 2004; his parents, Douglas and Lydia Baragar; and one brother, Len. Buster was born on June 8th, 1926 in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan. He spent his entire career in the oil patch. He was the 27th employee for Halliburton before starting his own oilfield consulting business. The Funeral Service will be held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1 Dunmore Road SE, on Friday, February 26th, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. with Gary W. Goran officiating.
