CHRISTMAN

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather Clifford Christman after a brief illness, on Saturday, March 12th, 2016 at the Peter Lougheed Centre, Calgary, at the age of 83 years. Clifford was born in Medicine Hat on May 1st, 1932 and was raised in Shuler, Alberta. Clifford was predeceased by a son Bill, great great granddaughter Emma Hoffman, parents Henry and Christina, 3 sisters, 7 brothers and a very special friend and neighbor, Walter Groenenboom. He is survived by his loving family, wife Esther of Brooks; daughter Joann Osadchuk and her husband Jack of Jenner; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at the Brooks Health Centre, STARS and the Peter Lougheed Centre ICU. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 18th at 2:00 PM from the Trinity Lutheran Church, Brooks. Rev. John Theiss officiating. Interment at Brooks Cemetery. In memory of Clifford, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to either Brooks and District Health Foundation, Bag 300, Brooks, Alberta T1R 1B3 or STARS, Suite 100, 1519 – 35th Avenue East, Edmonton International Airport T9E 0V6.
