Heidi Huttman, beloved wife of Wayne Canning and mother of Anna Canning, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at the age of 51 years. Along with Wayne and Anna, Heidi leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Phyllis Huttman; father, Otto Huttman; sisters, Tanya (Ron) Paquette and Kim (Marvin) Fleming; brother-in-law, John Murray as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Heidi was predeceased by her sister, Susan Murray. A come and go celebration of Heidi’s life will be held at Players Pub, 39 – 8 Street N.W., Medicine Hat on Saturday, March 19, 2016, between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (Condolences may be expressed by visiting our website at www.cooksouthland.com) Honoured to serve the family is

My thinking right now … I’m so sorry Heidi I couldn’t go to your wake. I will remember you in my own way. You never ever liked to lose at anything EVER. You left this earth way to young. MS cheated you and Wayne out of a loving fairytale together. He worshipped the ground you walked on. I have never seen a deeper devoted man than the one you chose for you soul mate.
