He will be lovingly remembered by Marg, his loving wife of 63 years, sons, Ken (Brenda), Bob (Ruth), and Mike (Lona), seven grandchildren; Gord (Mel), Jill, Alex, Mac, Spencer, Reece (Samantha), and Stephanie; and his brother-in-law, Garry Hooper.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Evelyn; two youngest sons, Steve and Thom; brother, Doug (Sheilah); sister-in-law, Jo Hooper and his mother-in-law, Betty Loney.

Lawrence passed exactly as he wished, suddenly, at home, with his wife and loving caregiver by his side. He truly lived a full life, with no regrets. Known by most to be ahead of his time, Lawrence loved music, especially jazz. An accountant, Lawrence was still doing tax returns at the time of his passing. Some of his clients he had for over 40 years and many became his dear friends who he enjoyed and looked forward to seeing every spring. A very unique and special person, he will be missed and his memory will continue with those who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2016 at Connelly McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, Alberta. GARDE BIEN. Cremation has taken place and burial will be in the family plot in Wetaskiwin at a later date.
