Darlene May Kanigan, beloved wife of Tim Kanigan, of Medicine Hat, passed away on Sunday April 10th, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 53 years. Darlene also leaves to cherish her memory four sons, Denis Papineau, Derek (Kelsey) Papineau, Donald (Chelsey) Bowman and Gordon Bowman; two step-daughters, Melissa (Chris) Putaro and Ashley (Darren) Poirier; nine grandchildren, Joelle and Lyric Papineau, Kacy and Preston Bowman, Nolan and Natalie Poirier, Zach, Brody and Violet Putaro; two sisters, Valerie Leronowich and Belinda (Lorne) McCallum; two brothers, Donald (Tracy) Leronowich and Richard Leronowich; her faithful companion and best friend, Diego; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Darlene was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Margaret Leronowich. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorial gifts in Darlene’s memory may be made to either the Margery E.
