Posted: April 21st, 2016Donald Lane of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Jean Grace Lane, passed away on Tuesday, April 19th, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Donald leaves to cherish his memory his three sons, Douglas (Marni) Lane of Beaumont, Alberta, Darrel (Benita) Lane of Medicine Hat and David Lane of Calgary; four grandchildren; and one brother, Jack Lane of Hamilton, Ontario. Funeral services will be held in Calgary at a later date. Doug, Darrell, David and Families,
We were so very sorry to hear of the passing of Don; and Jean late last year. Having lost our own father in 2013, we are keenly aware of the crater sized hole it leaves in your heart. May you take some comfort in knowing those two lovebirds are together once again. No doubt Jean’s been busy organizing Heaven’s garden for his arrival.
They were quite the pair – I remember their welcoming and devilish natures, warm smiles and generous hugs. We were blessed to know them.
